Hank Hudepohl is a native of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, and a graduate of Harvard with a degree in English. He served in the U.S. Navy and then held various odd jobs before returning to school to earn an MFA degree in Creative Writing from Hollins University.
His poetry and essays have appeared in journals, newspapers, and anthologies. Hudepohl is part Hatfield, which helps explain his fondness for squirrel meat and mountains. He currently lives with his family in New England. The Journey of Hands is his first book.
